Jane Campardo, MSc, BBA

Jane has 20 years of business management experience in the international wood products, manufacturing, hospitality and higher education industries as well as the public sector. Jane is passionate about creating high performance and engaging workplaces and helping businesses grow and improve their performance. Her repertoire of professional services include: business strategy, execution and measurement; human resources and marketing strategy, planning and research; project management and group facilitation; survey design, sampling and statistical analyses.
Jane designs and implements people leadership programs which lead to more focused, aligned, motivated, and engaged workplaces. She also develops HR tools, including:
- employee engagement surveys;
- training needs assessment and evaluation;
- performance development, measurement and reward systems;
- succession planning;
- process improvement; multi-skill and performance-based pay;
- job evaluation and compensation surveys.
She has also participated in the National HR Sector Study for advanced wood manufacturing. Jane is a member of the Human Resources Management Association. She is a graduate from UBC with a Masters degree in Forestry (International Wood Products Marketing) and holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. Jane has also served as Cluster Coordinator for the Okanagan Partnership’s Regional Competitive Strategy for the Forestry and Wood Products Cluster Initiative.
To her friends, Jane is known for her enthusiasm, practicality, and methodical nature, yet she is wildly adventurous and creative. Jane has travelled extensively throughout Australia, Asia and Europe in the 1990s where she gained a good understanding of the many fascinating cultures. She now shares her love for the outdoors, international cuisine, dance and meditation with her husband and two young daughters.
